Terms of Use

Effective May 30, 2026. Provider: Tax Receipts.

These Terms of Use apply when you use Tax Receipts to organize receipts and keep tax recordkeeping details.

Provider and acceptance

Tax Receipts is provided by Tax Receipts. By using the app, you agree to these terms and to any Apple App Store terms that apply to downloads, purchases, subscriptions, and refunds.

What Tax Receipts does

Organize scanned receipts, review extracted totals, track categories, and keep running records for tax time. The app can extract receipt fields such as vendor, date, total, sales tax, category, and notes, then save those records for your review by Tax Year.

No professional advice

Tax Receipts does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Categories are suggestions only and do not determine whether an expense is deductible, valid, or appropriate for any filing position.

AI limitations

AI-extracted fields and categories may be wrong, incomplete, or based on text that was extracted incorrectly from an image. Do not rely on Tax Receipts as the only source of truth for filing, accounting, or payment decisions.

Your responsibilities

You may only upload receipts you have the right to process. You should avoid uploading information that is not needed. You are responsible for reviewing and editing saved fields, keeping copies of important records, and consulting appropriate professionals.

Plans and subscriptions

Tax Receipts may offer Free and Pro plans. Pro features may include higher monthly receipt scan limits, private receipt image storage, editable records, category totals, and automatic Tax Years. App Store subscriptions renew until cancelled through Apple.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the app evolves. The app may be unavailable because of network, Supabase, OpenAI, Apple, or other service issues.

Governing terms

These terms are governed by the laws of California, unless local law requires otherwise.
